Our Campaigns

Our three campaigns, the Pearson National Teaching Awards, Education Insights and Thank a Teacher, help us raise the profile of the teaching profession across the UK, showcasing the impact and value that our teaching staff bring to our communities every single day.

Celebrating transformational teaching across the UK

The Pearson National Teaching Awards are an annual celebration of education, recognising the incredible work of teaching communities across the UK.

16 awards categories cover the primary, secondary and further education sectors and are open to schools and colleges in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Join us in honouring the teachers, support staff, and entire school communities that make a difference to our lives.

Education Insights is a series of events bringing together educators, experts and keynote speakers to explore the key issues shaping young people’s lives and our shared responsibility in preparing them for the world beyond school. Supported by Nord Anglia Education, the international education organisation, the series creates new opportunities for collaboration and shared learning across the sector.

These events strengthen the Trust’s mission and reflect our year-round commitment to championing the profession, raising the profile of educators, sharing learning across the sector, and connecting teachers, alumni and wider networks. Through Education Insights, the Teaching Awards Trust advances its charitable purpose and extends the reach and impact of its campaigns as part of an ambitious, continuous programme throughout the year.

Expressing gratitude, one thank you at a time

Our National Thank a Teacher campaign is all about appreciating the hard work of every single member of staff in early years, schools and colleges across the UK

We encourage everyone in the UK to recognise the impact that the education community has in shaping the minds and futures of our young people.

The campaign is open all year round, but National Thank a Teacher Day is an annual call-to-action to reach out to those who shape our schools, communities and country.
