Mary has run the Teaching Awards Trust since 2016 and is responsible for the growth and strategic development of the charity, working closely with the Chair and board of trustees. As a passionate advocate for the life-changing work that takes place in education, Mary believes that the profession should be more respected, celebrated and appreciated, and is proud of the ongoing success of the Teaching Awards Trust’s campaigns to ensure that this is the case. Mary has worked for nearly 20 years in the not-for-profit sector, having previously run an ed-tech charity and worked internationally with the Mayor of London’s promotional organisation, London & Partners.
